# Quickstart: Set Up Tendy and Find Your First Tender

> Create your Tendy account, run your first tender search, save a search template, and start receiving automated notifications in under 5 minutes.

This guide walks you through everything you need to go from a blank account to a working tender monitoring setup. By the end, you'll have a live search running, a saved template triggering notifications, and a clear picture of how Tendy fits into your procurement workflow.

<Note>
  Tendy refreshes data from all sources — goszakupki.by, icetrade.by, BUTB, and PPT BUTB — every **5 minutes**, around the clock. Any tender published on those platforms will appear in your feed within minutes of going live.
</Note>

<Steps>
  <Step title="Create your account">
    Go to [tendy.by/auth/signup](https://tendy.by/auth/signup) and register with your email address. Every new account automatically starts a **14-day free Pro trial** — no commitment required. During the trial you get full access to Tendy AI analysis, up to 15 saved search templates, 90-day history, and priority support, so you can evaluate the full platform before choosing a plan.

    Already have an account? [Log in](https://tendy.by/auth/login) instead.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Explore the search feed">
    After signing in, you land on your tender workspace at [/tenders](https://tendy.by/tenders). This is your main feed — every tender Tendy has collected from all sources, in one scrollable list.

    Use the view toggle in the top-right corner to switch between two layouts:

    * **Card view** — each tender is displayed as a tile with the title, source badge, publication date, and estimated value at a glance. Good for quick scanning.
    * **Table view** — tenders appear in a dense, sortable table. Use this when you want to compare many results side by side or sort by amount or deadline.

    Click any tender to open its detail page, where you'll find the full description, deadlines, contact details, and — on Pro and Business plans — the Tendy AI analysis panel.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Apply filters to narrow your results">
    The filter panel sits to the left of the feed. Use it to zero in on the tenders that matter to your business:

    * **Keyword** — search by tender title or description text. You can enter multiple keywords separated by spaces.
    * **Source** — show results from one or more specific platforms (goszakupki.by, icetrade.by, BUTB, PPT BUTB).
    * **OKRB code** — filter by the official Belarusian product/service classifier code to match your industry.
    * **Region** — limit results to a specific oblast or the city of Minsk.
    * **Amount** — set a minimum and/or maximum contract value to filter out tenders outside your target range.

    The feed updates instantly as you adjust each filter. You can combine as many filters as you need.

    <Tip>
      Complete your targeting profile under [Settings](https://tendy.by/settings) to let Tendy learn your preferred industries, regions, and OKRB codes. Once set, your feed will rank the most relevant tenders at the top, so you see your best opportunities first.
    </Tip>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save a search template">
    Once you've dialled in a filter combination that returns the right tenders, save it as a **search template** so you don't have to re-enter the same filters every session — and so Tendy can notify you automatically when new matches arrive.

    1. Click **Save search** (above the results list) while your filters are active.
    2. Give the template a name, for example *"IT services — Minsk, 50k–500k BYN"*.
    3. Enable **Notifications** for the template and choose your channel — email, Telegram, or both.
    4. Click **Save**.

    Your template is now listed at [/templates](https://tendy.by/templates). Tendy will run it continuously and push a notification the moment a new matching tender is published. You can manage all your templates — edit, pause, or delete them — from that page at any time.

    Tenders you want to revisit can be bookmarked from the detail page. Your saved tenders are always available at [/saved](https://tendy.by/saved).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Connect an AI assistant (optional)">
    On Basic, Pro, and Business plans you can connect external AI tools — ChatGPT, Claude, Mistral Le Chat, or Grok — to your Tendy data using the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

    1. Open [Settings → Access Tokens](https://tendy.by/settings).
    2. Click **Generate token** and copy the token shown.
    3. Paste the token into your AI assistant's MCP configuration following the instructions in the [AI assistant integrations guide](/integrations/mcp-overview).

    Once connected, you can ask your AI assistant questions like *"Show me tenders for road construction published this week"* or *"Summarise the requirements for tender #12345"* — directly inside the tool you already use every day.
  </Step>
</Steps>
