Tendy’s MCP connector lets you bring live procurement data directly into ChatGPT conversations. Once connected, you can search active tenders, pull full tender details, and run your saved searches — all without switching tabs or copying data by hand. ChatGPT’s Deep Research mode can even autonomously sweep Tendy’s database to surface relevant procurement opportunities on your behalf.

Prerequisites

  • A Tendy account on the Basic plan or above — AI assistant integrations are not available on the Free plan
  • A ChatGPT Plus, Team, or Enterprise account (custom connectors require a paid ChatGPT subscription)

The OAuth flow is the most secure way to connect and requires no manual token management.
1

Open ChatGPT Connectors settings

In ChatGPT, go to Settings → Connectors. If a verified Tendy connector is available in the GPT Store, you can also find it there and click Connect directly.
2

Add Tendy as a data source

Select Add connector (or Add data source) and enter the Tendy MCP endpoint URL:
3

Authorize with your Tendy account

ChatGPT redirects you to Tendy’s authorization page. Log in to your Tendy account and click Authorize to grant ChatGPT access. You are returned to ChatGPT automatically once authorization is complete.
4

Start a conversation

Tendy is now available as a connected data source. Open any chat and ask ChatGPT to search tenders, retrieve tender details, or run a saved search — it will call Tendy’s tools automatically.

Option B: Personal Access Token

Use a PAT if your ChatGPT setup (such as a custom API integration or an agent framework) requires an explicit Bearer token instead of the OAuth flow.
1

Generate a PAT in Tendy

In Tendy, go to Settings → Access Tokens and click Create token. Copy the token — it starts with tndy_pat_ and is shown only once.
2

Configure the Bearer token in your ChatGPT client

In your ChatGPT API configuration or custom GPT action settings, provide the PAT as an Authorization header:
Set the action endpoint to https://tendy.by/api/mcp.

What You Can Do After Connecting

Once the connector is active, ChatGPT can call the following Tendy tools on your behalf:

Deep Research

ChatGPT’s Deep Research mode uses the search and fetch tool pair exposed by Tendy’s MCP server. When you ask ChatGPT to research a procurement topic, it can autonomously issue multiple searches across Tendy’s database, fetch tender documents, and compile a structured report — without any manual prompting on your part.

Tips & Notes

Test the connection by sending this prompt: “Search for active IT tenders in Minsk above 50,000 BYN.” If ChatGPT returns real results from Tendy, your connector is working correctly.
AI assistant integrations (including this ChatGPT connector) are available on the Basic plan and above. Tendy’s built-in AI tender analysis features — such as automated requirement extraction and bid scoring — require the Pro plan.
