Telegram notifications let you receive tender alerts directly in your Telegram chat — no need to log in to Tendy to stay informed. Once connected, any saved search template with a notification frequency set will deliver its alerts to your Telegram account, alongside whichever other channels you have enabled.

Prerequisites

  • A Basic, Pro, or Business plan (Telegram notifications are not available on the Free plan).
  • An active Telegram account with the Telegram app installed on at least one device.

Connect Your Telegram Account

1

Open Notification Settings

In Tendy, navigate to Settings → Notifications. This is where all your notification channels are managed.
2

Click Connect Telegram

Locate the Telegram section and click the Connect Telegram button. Tendy will generate a unique verification link tied to your account.
3

Start the Tendy Bot

Follow the link that appears — it will either open the Tendy Telegram bot directly via a deep link or display a verification code for you to send to the bot manually. In Telegram, press Start to initiate the conversation with the bot.
4

Confirm the Connection

Return to the Settings → Notifications page in Tendy. Once the bot receives your verification, the Telegram section will update to show your account as Connected.
5

Set Notification Frequency on Your Saved Searches

Go to any of your saved search templates and choose a notification frequency — Instant, Daily digest, or Weekly digest. From this point on, matching tender alerts will be delivered to your Telegram chat as well as any other configured channels.
You can disconnect Telegram at any time by returning to Settings → Notifications and clicking Disconnect in the Telegram section. Your saved search templates and other notification settings will remain intact.

Troubleshooting

Make sure you actually pressed Start in the Tendy Telegram bot chat — without this step, the bot cannot message you. If you already pressed Start but nothing arrived, go back to Settings → Notifications, click Disconnect if a partial connection exists, and then click Connect Telegram again to generate a fresh verification link.
Check the following:
  • Open Settings → Notifications and confirm your Telegram account still shows as Connected. If it was accidentally disconnected, reconnect using the steps above.
  • Verify that the relevant saved search template still exists and has a notification frequency selected.
  • Confirm your subscription is still active — Telegram notifications require a Basic, Pro, or Business plan.
  • In Telegram, confirm you haven’t blocked or muted the Tendy bot.
Currently, each Tendy account supports one connected Telegram account at a time. If you need to switch to a different Telegram account, disconnect the existing one from Settings → Notifications and then reconnect with the new account.
